Having grown up in the Midwest, I studied political science at the University of Santa Clara, and enjoyed studies abroad in London and Vienna, Austria. I then spent ten years working in the ski industry at Snowbird, Utah; Zermatt, Switzerland; and Big Sky, Montana.

Eventually, I became involved in real estate in Southwestern Montana for several years before embarking on a log home building project outside of Bozeman. I have also worked as a finish carpenter,  school teacher, obtained a Masters degree in Theology, and served for two terms as a Montana State Legislator in ’09 and ’11 before moving to North Idaho in 2017.

My wife, Katie, shares my passion for fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking and nearly all forms of boating. In the months of Autumn, I greatly enjoy upland bird-hunting with our 10 year old Labrador : “Tink”.

I am eager to advocate for your best interests in the purchase and sale of real property, pledging to always be forthright, honest, and ethical while keeping an eye out for the perpetual prospect of an hour or two of fishing on one of North Idaho’s nearby waters!
